Finished Project: The FRANKENHOOKER SHIRT for my husband!

Hello! I have made my husband a few shirts from this simple Simplicity men's shirt pattern. This one is UBER HOT! Just like my hubby!
The shirt is a medium weight cotton. The under collar and the inside facing is an older Alexander Henry print with skulls and roses.
I added studs to the front shirt pocket for some bling. Studs for moi stud!
The best part! THE FRANKENHHOOKER is a back patch (screen printed) I bought on the internet a few years ago.

It's a crazy B movie about a girl injured in a freak accident and her boyfriend patches her back together using parts of dead hookers! WIN! I LOVE B MOVIES.

The last awesome detail is the under collar, if popped up, it reveals the skull print.
Isn't it THE HOTTEST??

STAY GLAM!

ps- I am working on the most amazing pattern, resizing it up! I have two shows (one is a battle of the bands, wish me luck!) this weekend, and then 2 weeks off to sew it up! Maybe more instruction videos..

Great shirt!!!! You're so nice to sew for your man.... I, on the other hand, am not that nice...Of course, it may have something to do with the fact that the BF has about 3x as many clothes as I do...

I cannot believe you made a Frankenhooker shirt!!! I know a lot of the people who worked on that, and I myself was a PA on Basketcase 2.

Looks great!

You know, you and your hubby kinda look alike, which it is said all great couples do :) That's a great basic shirt you've made him there and I'm sure it'd adapt to lots of different fabrics.xx.

That is so cool! Your hubby is lucky to have you to sew such awesome stuff for him and you are lucky to have a hubby that will actually wear it. LOL

That Alexander Henry fabric is the same that I used on one of my favorite skirt refashions. :)

Good luck on your shows!

AWESOME shirt! I'd have to chase the Hubs down to get him to wear something like that (he's afraid of fashion) but I have to admit I've been keening after a shirtdress of my own. Maybe I'll have to make one for myself and add a back patch, bowling shirt details, etc.

Love the shirt! Too cool! Maybe I should bust out my bowling shirt and rock that thing again! Ha-ha!
Battle of the bands? No worries, you'll knock all of their socks off and kick their asses, just by batting an eyelash, honey! Love ya babe!

Oooh. That almost makes me want to make something for my husband. Almost. Then I remember my vow to just not do that. ;)

It's an awesome shirt.
