I thought you said your doog does not bite?

Well, that is not my doog!
This is a mid century McCalls pattern that incorporates a faux jacket into the bodice. Very tricky, I've spent a few months getting this dress right. Now of course it's the Pink Panther for my birthday dress! I got this fabric at Walmart this summer. I just adore this pattern and am gonna make more of it. There are a lot of color blocking and print blocking ideas to do with this pattern! I have some great dresses coming when I get the time. Hope you enjoy it!

    WOW! That is amazing! I've seen this pattern around but didn't realize it was a faux jacket. The solid inset really shows that off. I love it!

    I frigging love this frock! The fabric is brillant, but the design! O! Loving that built in jacket. I don't feel really dressed without a little cardigan or jacket, but it's so hot lately...this frock would sort me out!

    happiest of all birthdays! I recently found you blog and was, in equal measures, elated and very sad. Love your fashions and.....you are similarly built like me so your fitting issues and successes are so helpful. THEN you said you were going to disappear for a bit.
