I VANT TO SUCK YOUR BLUUUUD!!!!
The graphic is a vampire hand coming out of a coffin holding a Martini! The Text says, SLEEP ALL DAY, PARTY ALL NIGHT.
The vampire hand GLOWS IN THE DARK!! THAT"S THE SHIT!!!!
This t shirt is a walmart t-shirt. I cut the sleeves off and staystiched so the opening will not stretch. I decided to leave them as an unfinished look. It went with lots of flapper dress images that I had been researching.
I cut the neck and secured it with stretch lace binding turned to the inside. So the neck will also keep it's shape. The problem with doing anything with T shirts is that the strechi-ness will distort in the wash or after long wear times. I was going for a Burlesque/ Gothic look. The skirt has two layers. The top layer, I made a pleated skirt form a sheer black organza with little black velvet bats. It's hard to see the bats. They don't come up in photographs. Little Buggers.

The second skirt layer is a black rayon with raised white webs and red glitter spiders. I made a dress of this before! I got a lot of mileage out of 8 yards these days. No matter what if I buy that amount I always make multiple projects. I cut this second skirt lower in the back so it would hang like this!
Sexxy huh!
This one is a bit blurry because I was kicking my foot up, but I like the whimsy. Whimsy rocks.
I can't wait to wear this darling to a show. I wonder how the glow in the dark will look then! WOOOO!
STAY GLAM!!!!

I LOVE IT! Love the longer layer in the back and the multiple layers of discreet but complimentary fabrics and LOVE the Count/Vampire with the martini glass. Also I love your hair and the beautiful floral tats on your lower arms. Lovely lovely pretty pretty. Wish we could play!

ReplyDeletehow beautiful! I want one now..and from Walmart thats so cool Mamas.love the cute ruffle.
ReplyDeleteCute! Love the ruffles - I don't wear t-shirts a lot, but sometimes want one that says something on it. I usually cut the neckline into a scoop with pinking shears and then stitch around it with a decorative stitch. Your way sounds much more secure!
ReplyDeleteAlso - love the hair - are you wearing it up, or did you get it cut??
WHOOHOO. LOOK AT THAT BOOTY.
